We were asked to speak with Michael Mayer about the Zero Outage Industry Standard Association. ZOIS is a London based organisation that aims to maximise customer satisfaction and value by providing a framework of best practices and standards to enable the delivery of secure, reliable and highly available end-to-end IT services and solutions.
Michael Mayer, from Hitachi Data Systems is a member of Board of Directors of the association and together with another colleague leads the people work-stream of ZOIS. He goes on to explain the impact of human errors on IT security and quality and his team’s work on the new standards.
“These guidelines can then also be applied to normal IT. We have a great, motivated team in the People Workstream with Netapp, HPE, Suse, Juniper, Dell, SAP and T-Systems.”
